Halloween Printable Cupcake Liners "Dracula"

Posted by Elaine on 9:25 PM in

Cupcakes hold a special place in my son-in-laws heart.  This past summer he had jaw surgery and couldn't eat solid foods for a month or so.  One night he woke up absolutely starving, but, when you can only eat things that are soft, your options are rather limited! He found a batch of cupcakes I had made to take pictures of these cupcake liners with and he went nuts! Like a starving madman, he desperately shoved them between the tiny space in his braces (which was banded shut because of the surgery) and into his mouth.  Crumbs were everywhere and cupcake was smeared all over his face, but he said they saved his life! He's had a special feeling towards cupcakes ever since :-) Printable Cupcake Liners "Dracula" will guarantee that your next party doesn't "bite"...

Trick or Treat Bag "Skeleton 2"

Posted by Elaine on 9:37 PM in

Last year the ladies stayed home while the husbands took the little ones trick or treating.  My son didn't dress up, he just wore his leather jacket.  He went with my son-in-law who was wearing a black cloak and a "scream" mask and they took all of my little grandchildren. The two of them showed up at a door, and after the gaggle of children got their candy the host offered "do mommy and daddy want some candy too?"  My bearded son turned to his slightly smaller, masked brother-in-law and smirked "well honey, I'm obviously dad so I guess that makes you 'mommy''! We've been laughing about that ever since, and we still give my son-in-law a hard time! Make trick-or-treating special this year with Trick or Treat Bag "Skeleton 2"--it holds tons of booty!

Halloween Craft "Bones" Candy Calendar

Posted by Elaine on 10:29 AM in

"Shiver me timbers!" the pirate cried,
I ate so much sugar, I feel like I've died!
Pumpkin pie, candy and ice cream cones,
but now look at me--I'm a pile of bones!

This pirate skeleton scored some major "booty"--he's so stocked with candy that he's hidden one piece for every day of October to count down until Halloween! Don't let his knife or hook scare you--he's just a bag of bones :-) Halloween Craft "Bones" Candy Calendar is a great way to get to share the excitement of the month with your little pirates!

Halloween Craft Idea "Ghoul Friend" Count Down Candy Calendar

Posted by Elaine on 10:18 AM in

"Don't cha wish your 'ghoul friend' was hot like me?"

There's no wonder why this little lady has Frankenstein head over heels--she's the epitome of class! With hair to "dye" for and spider earrings, who could resist her creepy charm?  And she's sweet to boot :-) Anyone would want a girlfriend like this! My nephew dated (and later married) a sweet girl named Annette.  He couldn't make it to a family function once because he had plans with his girlfriend.  When my daughter asked me why he wasn't there, I responded "He couldn't come because he went hiking with Annette!"  Befuddled she replied, "I can see why he would go hiking...but why would he want to go hiking with a net?" Do you have any funny "ghoul friend" stories? Halloween Craft "Ghoul Friend" Candy Calendar is a great way to count down the days that special "date" at the end of the month!

Halloween Party Favor "Katy Kitty" Cookie Pocket

Posted by Elaine on 10:12 PM in

The other day I was sitting in my room with my two older daughters when one of them exclaimed what I heard (or understood) to be:  "I used to hate cats so much, but now I think they're my favorite, I could eat one every day!" My other daughter agreed--"they are super yummy--they defintely hit the spot!" I must have had a rather disgusted look on my face as I questioned, "cats?" As it turns out, they were talking about KIT Kats...not kitty cats :-) We all know kitty cats aren't to eat--they're only to decorate things like this adorable cookie holder!  Homemade Party Favor "Katy Kitty" Cookie Pocket is one kitty cat  that's sure to guarantee a delicious treat...

Halloween Craft "Patty Boo" Candy Calendar

Posted by Elaine on 10:06 PM in

Do you ever wonder where the idea of dressing up as a ghost came from? I can see it perfectly now.  It was October 30th and a tired mother with much to much to do (as is almost always the case with mothers) realizes that she has yet to assemble a Halloween costume for her little one.  Oh no! Fearing her child's disappointment, she considers what she's got on hand.  Resourceful (as mothers always have to be), she pulls a sheet from the closet, drapes it over her little monster and pronounces "you can be a ghost!" To sweeten the deal, she lets the child cut out two eye-holes (what child doesn't like cutting things they're not supposed to, like sheets?). Voila.  Halloween Craft "Patty Boo" Candy Calendar is also sure to be a huge hit with the little ones! With thirty one days of treats, this is one ghost that they'll want to be able to see every day!
