PECAN TOFFEE

MAKING THE TOFFEE

Sprinkle on bottom of a greased 9" square pan:

1 cup chopped pecans.

Combine in a saucepan:

3/4 cup packed brown sugar 

1/2 cup butter

Bring to a boil, stirring constantly for 7 minutes.

Remove from heat and spread over the nuts.

Sprinkle over the top 1/2 cup chocolate chips.

Cover the pan with a cloth for 5 minutes so the chocolate will melt. Spread the chocolate evenly over the top. Cut into squares while still warm.

Refrigerate to set.
