Scrappy Picture Frames

What You Will Need:

One unfinished wood picture frame (purchased at craft store for $1)
Modge Podge
One sheet scrap book paper
Craft Paint
Sponge brushes
1 yard ribbon (optional)

Putting It All Together:

1.  Trace picture frame on the back of the scrap book paper.  Cut out traced frame just inside the lines.      The cut out paper frame needs to be slightly smaller then the wooden frame.  NOTE:  Be sure to mark the top of the frame on both the paper cut out and the wood frame so that they line up together evenly.

2.  With a sponge brush paint the sides of the wood frame.

3.  With a sponge brush apply a thin layer of Modge Podge to the wood frame.  Line up marked paper frame to marked wood frame.  Lay the paper frame onto the Modge Podged frame and smooth paper out starting in the center and smoothing toward outside edge.

4.  Attach the ribbon on the back of the frame with a stapler.  Tie in a bow.  Hang and enjoy.
