My daughter Megan made these adorable printable invitations for her sister-in-laws baby shower. There are a variety of diaper colors to choose from so it made for a very colorful and happy invite. The free download includes instructions, thirteen different diaper colors, printable envelopes, printable safety pin (or you could use real safety pins) and printable invitation.
These fun little diapers could also be used as a party favor to add to the theme of the shower. Slip a candy bar or wrapped cookie into the diaper instead of the invitation and send them home with your guests.
Print diaper invitations, safety pins and envelopes on card stock paper. Images and instructions on printing are below. Cut images out.
When cutting out the pins, cut through one end.
With a ruler and flat head screwdriver score diapers along dotted lines and fold. With a hole punch make two holes on the front diaper flap. Glue two bottom flaps together. Insert safety pin through holes and glue top flap to the two bottom flaps underneath.
These make a fun invitation, but they are also a fun little party favor. For the invitation attach the R.S.V.P. tag to the cut end of the pin and insert the baby shower invite into the diaper.
For a party favor insert a candy bar into the diaper and attach the tag to the pin in the same way as described above.
Options for tag: You can write people’s names on the tag and make it a table name card or write a fun baby saying, or write the baby’s name.
With a ruler and a flat head screwdriver score along dotted lines on envelope and fold into envelope shape.
Insert diaper invitation and seal envelope with a dab of hot glue where all points meet.
