This soup has become a family favorite and so easy to make.

Making the soup:
2 cans or three cups chicken broth
6 medium sized potatoes cut into bite size piece
1 lb sausage, cooked, drained and crumbled
2 cups spinach, cut into strips
1 cup whipping cream
3 cups half and half
1 tbsp. fresh basil, finely chopped (can use dried)
1/2 tsp. pepper
Salt to taste
Bring the chicken broth to a boil.  Add the bite-size potatoes and cook until tender.  Add the remaining ingredients and cook until heated through. Serves 4-6.
