Shredded Beef Sandwiches

4 lbs boneless chuck roast
1 large onion
1 cup ketchup
1/4 cup lemon juice
3 Tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
2 Tbsp. vinegar
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp liquid smoke
24 buns

Cut roast in half and place in slow cooker.  Cut onion in rings and put on top of roast.  Combine next 8 ingredients and pour over roast.  Cover and cook for 8-9 hours.  Remove roast  from slow cooker and shred.  Return to slow cooker until ready to eat.  Serve with buns, lettuce, tomatoes, onions and and other sandwich fixings that you like.  Have a great summer!
