Tips for a great treasure hunt:
1) Go through all of the clues at least a few days before to make sure that you have all of the equipment/supplies necessary
2) Make sure that you print and cut out all of the clues at a time when you won't get caught! (ie when the kids are at school or in bed)
3) Get a little crazy and go ALL the way out. Half-baked ideas are like half-baked pizza--they're cheesy and they would have been much better if they were done all the way through. Leave bunny tracks on the floor, gnaw some of the carrots yourself before scattering them around, break a couple eggs where the bunny was trying to dye eggs at the table (they're arms are too short to do a good job!)...you get the idea, just have FUN with it. And it will rock your kids' world.
